John Daugherty Joins Luxury Home Solutions

John Daugherty has joined Luxury Home Solutions (LHS), a full-service company that offers home repair, updating, remodeling, and new construction, as Remodeling Consultant for Collier County. In his new position, Daugherty will market the company’s services to homeowners, real estate professionals, suppliers and custom trade organizations.

A native of Fort Lauderdale, Daugherty relocated to Southwest Florida ten years ago. He attended Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa as well as Hodges University in Naples. He holds both a State Certified General Contractors License and Real Estate Broker’s License in Florida. He has more than 28 years of experience in construction management, including positions as vice president of construction for Southern Construction and Design in Miami; president of Generation Development, Inc. in Naples; senior project manager for Pinkerton & Laws based in Atlanta and Orlando; and director of construction at G. L. Homes, Naples and Fort Lauderdale.

Among his numerous certifications and continuing education course work, Daugherty is certified in Green Building High Performance Guidelines, LEED Earth and Atmosphere Methodology, Wind Mitigation Methodology: Retrofit for Existing Homes, and more. He is a past member of The Association General Contractors of America, the Southern Florida Minority Diversified Council, and the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. 

Luxury Home Solutions is backed by 30 years of experience in the building industry. Together, the principals have built over 1,000 homes in Collier and Lee Counties, and installed more than 7,000 kitchens and baths. LHS is located at 12244 Treeline Avenue, Suite 7 in Fort Myers.
